Weather
San Francisco is a study in microclimates. There are times when you can walk a couple blocks and go from nice, warm sun to bone-chilling fog. Early October in San Francisco normally has some of the best weather of the year, and so the weather should be gorgeous - cross your fingers! Typical weather in San Francisco for that time of year is dry, upper 60’s to mid 70’s during the day, with fog rolling in and breeze picking up during the late afternoon and evening, which can bring cooler temperatures. Layers are key. Sunset on October 6 will be at 6:45 PM.
